Suggest Treatment For Spreading Rashes On The Chin

I have a break out on my chin for over a month or so, i have been taking care of cats and dogs that have had pin worms! that when I noticed the breakout! I used a cream called Econazole Nitrate cream, 1% that my Mom gave me to see if that would help, now its spreading around my mouth! I also think it could be a breakout from using different toothpaste. Not sure whats going on!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would recommend you to combine a mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone thin layer twice a day on the area and the econazole cream over it. In the midday try to use a simple hydrating ointment (an ointment with no odor and no color).
If you notice no improvement with this in 4-5 days you will need to have a check with your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
