Suggest Treatment For Sprained Ankle And Bruise On Knee

Hello. I was recently struck by a car while assisting a lady in a wreck. I suffered a sprained ankle and hit the pavement with both knees and skinned my right knee. There is still a bruise below my kneecap along with a knot that has seemed to have formed. I see my orthopedic Friday but was wondering what you may think.

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post, I would suggest that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated by an Orthopedic surgeon. An X - Ray may be needed. You can take painkiller like Ibuprofen twice daily after meals along with an antacid. Avoid exertion on the injured leg. Get your bruised part dressed under aseptic condition.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
