Suggest Treatment For Sores On Scalp

I have sores on my scalp that has lead to swollen lymph nodes on the back of my head and next to my ear. What can I do to stop the sores on my scalp. I have seen a doctor and was told just that it was swollen lymph nodes and if it doesn t go away then to return but this is the second time this has happened.

Hi,

It seems that probably you may be having pyoderma on scalp. It is a bacterial infection caused by staphylococci. Cervical and occipital lymphnodes may be enlarged. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis.

Blood tests may be done to rule out HIV,DM,Anaemia and other internal diseases...

Your doctor might give you a course of antibiotics and antiinflammatory drugs. Antibiotic cream may be applied. Savlone solution may be use d to cleanse the scalp.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
