Suggest Treatment For Sores On Inner Thighs

Last week I got a sore on my inner right thigh that hurt from rubbing when I walked. It had skin peel around it similar to if you had a sun burn. Kind of flakey. But it made my skin raw. Then I noticed I was getting one on my left tight almost directly across from my right. The right one is just now healing up and scabbing but the left has not gotten there yet. Should I get checked for an std? They are really uncomfortable and it makes me nervous.
