Hi

Welcome in H.C.M.

I understand your query, and would like to say that recurrence of sore throat indicates that there should be some local pathology in upper respiratory tract like chronic tonsillitis, sinusitis, deviated nasal septum etc. Other possibility is of reinfection.

For effective treatment it becomes now necessary to diagnose the real pathology behind it. Therefore now these basic investigations are becomes essential-

1- X-Ray paranasal sinuses.

2- Culture & sensitivity of throat swab.

3- Gram's staining of sputum.

4- Blood sugar.

Inferences of above investigations along with co-relation of clinical examination will guide for curative treatment.

Thanks for consulting H.C.M.
