Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat In Pregnancy

Hi I m 36 weeks pregnant and have had a sinus issue for about 4 weeks. Gp says there is nothing wrong in my throat but it s been really sore while I ve been sick. Last night it started to hurt more and now feels like there are bumps on the back of my tongue but I can t see them. Does this sound like anything that should be treated with antibiotics or do I just rest and take panadol?

Try cough syrup like grilinctus and alec lozenges. They are safe in pregnancy.

No need for antibiotics straight away . If it doesnot help we can consider safe antibiotics later.
