Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Cough And Runny Nose

im 43 on effexor 150mg 1xd 30mg remeron 1xd 300mg zantac 1xd crestor 10mg 1xd multi-vitamins on crestor since wed efexor upd on wed as well from 112.5mg multivitamins started then also. this morning woke with phlegm and went from that to sore throat to coughing , then later add in runny nose...that escalated to coughing and sneezing then a bloody nose{nose has stopped bleeding }

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sore throat, cough and runny nose which means you are suffering from Viral Infection. There might be a bacterial infection along with viral infection. I would suggest you to do salt Water gargles 4-5 times a day. You should take .Take anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen/acetaminophen along with oral decongestant like Pseudoephadrine for stuffy nose. Consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Take steam inhalation to prevent further exaggeration. Your symptoms will start resolving in 1 week. Take diet rich in vitamin C.
