Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Severe Cough

I HAVE HAD A BAD COUGH FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. NOT COUGHING UP ANYTHING EXCEPT A BIT OF WHITE SPUTUM. HAD TWO PRESCRIPTIONS OF ANTI BIOTICS AND ALTHOUGH BETTER, COUGHING STILL. DR SENT ME FOR CHEST XRAY TODAY And I am worried that it could be throat or chest cancer. Slight sore throat and coughing is worse evenings and during the night. I am not feeling atall ill.

I have read your query . As far as sore throat and severe cough is concerned this can be due strep throat or tonsilitis . Dont be worried so much investigations are for confirmation to get proper diagnosis . Go for investigations and consult your doctor proper treatment . Sore throat and cough are not symptoms of cancer so go dont take stress go for investigations .

Welcome to HCM.
based on the things you have described, you are suffering from respiratory infection. Since you have already taken antibiotics, to get the sputum out, take syrup or tablet with composition of Ambroxyl. Do salt water gargling with was water. Gradually your symptoms will subside.
