Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The symptoms you present could be caused by the following medication conditions:
-Tracheal/oesophageal trauma given the fact that you were intubated 3 months ago
-Respiratory infection
-GERD
-Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
-Allergy
Your symptoms may have many causes. However, i will advise you see your Doctor for investigation.Test that may help identify the causes are: a respiratory function test/spirometry, throat swap culture, chat X ray, sputum exam, H pylori test. From the results of these tests, the cause of the problem may be identified.I will however suggest the following:
-Avoid smoke, dust and cold
-Take a mucolytic like carbocysteine
-Take an anti-histamine like premalan
-Continue with Zantac
-Take enough fluids
-Eat in small quantities and frequently, avoid eating and lying immediately, avoid foods that aggravate symptoms of GERD.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
