Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Altered Sense Of Taste And Intermittent Fever

I have a sore throat but its up behind the uvula and also water and some foods taste odd. I'm not sure if its metalic tasting, or sulfur, a little bit of both? Is that common? No puss or anything that I can see, but I think I have an on and off fever with it. Any thoughts? Thanks!
