Suggest Treatment For Soft Tissue Damage

Every time I go from a sitting position to a standing position my knee pops and its extremely painful. 2 weeks ago when it popped I went o an urgent care clinic and received a brace and the dray indicated soft tissue damage behind the patella but now the pain is much worse. Any idea what the problem might be? Thank you.
