Suggest Treatment For Sneezing With Runny Nose

I am 66 yrs old from Nairobi, Kenya and arrived in Toronto, Canada on 23rd July; we are visiting our daughter ,mason in law grand children. I suffer from BRonchiectasis and take daily montiget, uniphyllin, ventolin, SERETIDE and once a week,every Thursday 500 mg Thyromax .i am asthmatic and also diabetic 2. Before travelling to Canada I took got vans for pneumonia .Since yesterday I have been sneezing with running nose and tired. I have taking tynanol for cold but see little improvement. My day to start Zythromax is Thurs tomorrow. Is it okay to take Zythromax 500mg in the morning then and then take course of Zinat to ensure I get rid of this viral infection ! Noted your question. In the current global epidemic scenario, it is prudent to inform the local authorities to conduct a swab test.

The symptoms are mostly viral. I suspect you are using Zythromax for bronchiectasis and that can be taken. However, that will have little impact on your runny nose and cold symptoms.

You may take cold medications like cetrizine or Loratadine. However, i strongly suggest to contact local health authorities in the current global scenario.
