Suggest Treatment For Small Red Spots On The Face Of A Child
My daughter is 8 years old. She has been getting spots on her face that are red (not a rash) that she complains is stinging her. It starts out feeling hot, moves to stinging - 5 to 10 minutes later broken skin appears that looks like a rug or mat burn. This is not from scratching. It does not itch. It burns, stings then breaks skin.
Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter have symptoms of small red spots on the face which occurs when sebum get accumulated along with dead skin and bacteria in clogged pore of sebaceous gland. It could be due to fractional heat, improper hygiene and excessive sun exposure as well. Need not to worry. You should start with Accutane as it contains isotretinoin and is used to treat these red spots. Exfoliate your skin once a week to remove the dead skin from your face. If condition doesn't start getting better in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment. Doctor may prescribe oral antibiotic course clindamycin. You should go for chemical peeling and laser therapy. Drink plenty of water. Apply betnovate on acne twice a day for 2-3 days. Take diet rich in fruits , green leafy vegetables and salad.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
