Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Suggest Treatment For Skin Rashes And Bumps On The Neck
My daughter developed a skin rash with small round bumps on her neck and torso yesterday morning, she has had no fever no cough or sneezing episodes. They still look the same today. She is not itching the area. She has had rashes in the past but not as much surface area.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. There can be many reasons for the bumps in the skin in case of your daughter. It would have been helpful if you could have told her age. If she is a small child the most common possibility may be mosquito bites. The other possibilities may be boils, acne, scabies, impetigo, insect bite allergy, allergic eczema, chicken pox, measles etc.
Kindly take your child to a doctor, who will take detailed history, may order for blood investigations if required. The doctor may prescribe antibiotics and anti-histaminic tablets and creams for local application if required.
Hope I have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best.
With warm regards, Dr. Sanjay Kini
