Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Nadolol

Hi. I was taking nadolol half of 20mg and was having side effects . I have low blood sugar since I was 19 years old (I m 46 now), and noticed that wasn t feeling well at all. I did not take last night and I feel better today. The nurse sent a prescription to the pharmacy on Friday but they do not have Corgard, the Pharmacist ordered it and it will be ready on Monday. I m planning not to take it tonight , feel better without it. I have palpitations but nothing to worry about, I guess. I have Prolapse . I d like to know how long does it take to get nadolol off my system. Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Nadolol stays in your body about 20 24 hours. I don't recommend you to stop it without consult with your doctor. Until you make an appointment check your blood pressure and heart rate.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
