I was put on losartan for high blood pressure last week but had to stop because of a rash and dizziness. Yesterday I started carvedilol and my blood pressure and dizziness has improved. How long should I be concerned about the rash? How long should it take to disappear? If I was allergic to losartan am I likely to be allergic to carvedilol also. I am using benedril and is helpful. I will be seeing my doctor next week.
