Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Elixir

I have just started taking elixirs and am experiencing upset stomach and lethargy. Is this likely to go away? I had blood clots (pulmonary emboli) caused by two long days of bus and plane travel. Am taking 10 mg 2x per day for 7days and then half that amount for (don t know). Thank you! just realized autofill put in elixir. Wrong. Eliquis.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Elixirs are given to relieve pulmonary problems. To avoid gastric upsets after elixir. It can be taken after food. Drinking plenty of water helps.

Drowsiness following the medicine demands adjustment of dose with treating doctor's advice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
