Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath

I ve had a shortness of breath for about the last 12 months after giving up smoking. It has got progrssivly worse but I can still walk and climb stairs without getting too muchout of breath. No pain or discomfort. I suffer from a hereditary neuropathy so can t exercise and I m about 15kgs over weight. What conditions cause these symptoms please.

Went through your post as your main complaint is breathlessness on exertion, both the disease of lung as well as heart can cause exertional breathlessness in addition to that low hemoglobin can also cause it . I would suggest you consult a physician for assessment of your heart and lung status. In addition to proper physical examination.
