Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath And Tightness In Throat

My Daughter age 18 has Cowden Syndrome. She had thyroid cancer at 16 and had her entire Thyroid removed. She has had a cough, tightness in her throat and chest, shortness of breath, choking and her voice has become very hoarse, deep for approximately 3 months. They have tried antibiotics, inhalers, nebulizer treatments, oral steroids and nothing is working. Do you think it is reasonable to ask for her to be screened for lung cancer?
