Suggest Treatment For Shingles In Perineum

My mother has shingles on her perineum. I am concerned that she is not taking in enough fluids and at age 86 this could lead to serious problem. She of course is very umfortable. I thought a Intravenous fluid with a pain killer in the outpatient clinic?

she can take antiviral antibiotic like acyclovir and analgesic. age of your mother is more so deal properly. it is obvious she may forget.advise her properly to take required fluid. donot decide about medication.leave treatment for decision of doctor.
