Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In The Lower Back

Hi........don t have a lot of trouble with my back during the day with walking, sitting etc, sometimes when standing, but when I lay in bed of a night, and any movement a sharp electric severe pain shorts through my lower back and each time I move it grabs my back...once I go off to sleep for a couple of hours and wake up and move on bed, I don t get the pain and no more sharp severe pain until the next night....it happens the first time I lay down each night.....

Hello,

It may be due to muscle sprain.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Apply diclofenac gel or ointment locally.

Heating pads also helps.

In case of not getting relief you may require MRI back after orthopedician consultation.

Do regular physical therapy
