Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In The Left Quadrant Occasionally

I am getting an occasional sharp pain in my left Quad, close to the pelvis on the outside side. It is only occasional, but feels like a hot iron. I am concerned that it could be a clot. I am about 40 lbs. overweight, have kidney disease and do Not smoke.
