Suggest Treatment For Sharp Lower Back Pain Caused After An Injury

I woke up yesterday with a sharp pain across my lower back area, more on the lower right side. It felt like I had been hit with a board. No other pain elsewhere. I hate to bother my Dr. during the holidays and wondered if it was just from the very cold air and being out in it several times a day. Normally I am a stay at home for weeks on end. When family visits tho I am out with them. I also have to pull my self to stand up from my wheelchair to get in and out of the car.Perhaps I have just pulled a muscle in my back?

Hello

Thanks for asking a question at HCM

I will be glad to answer for you

We cannot ruleout the cause of pain until examined, and investigated.

You need an x ray back done to see if nothing abnormal has happened.

Otherwise these can be muscle spasms induced/aggaravated by cold weather

If the pain bothers you often, I suggest go to a doctor to get investigated further rather than waiting till it gets complicated.

Hope this helps

Best Regards
Dr Chaithanya
