Suggest Treatment For Severe Wrist Pain While On Prednisone
I was diagnosed with possible RA and was put on low dose Prednisone and Sulfasalazine 500 mg and as I am being weaned off the Prednisone..down to 2.5 mg a day and I take one Sulfasalazine a day cut in half..one at lunch and one at dinner time, my aches and pains are getting a bit worse again with knee and wrist pain coming back. Could this be a side effect of the Sulfasalazine or more likely the decreasing of the Prednisone. Advil and Motrin do help, but I try to not take that more than just at night time. I ve only been on the Sulfasalazine for 1 month.

It may be due to muscle sprain.
