HI I have this upper stomach pain thats been here since yesterday evening that didn t go away after i went to bed last night. I don t know what s causing it, I m not sick nor have I been. I didn t eat much the day before this pain came on and I did t get much sleep the night before either. Do you know what this could be? I ve tried antacids to take the pain away but they don t help.
You should go for routine blood tests and stool examination with ultrasound abdomen if not done previously.
Meanwhile, you should continue to take antacids (pantoprazole) available over the counter with antibiotics (ofloxacin with ornidazole) and symptomatic treatment.Your nearby GP may prescribe it.
Avoid oily, spicy and non-veg foods for at least 3 to 5 days and must not take alcohol.
You will feel better within 3 to 5 days of this medications.
If symptoms persists then see gastroenterologist who may advice you upper GI endoscopy and will give you further advice accordingly.
