Suggest Treatment For Severe Tooth Infection And Pain

oral surgeon Rx amoxicillin 500mg 3 times daily for 5 days, and took ibuprofen 800mg 3times daily . A dentist did a crown which was painful for 3 months, because crown caused a slight infection, so oral surgeon had to extract # 30 tooth so infection could drain and heal. combining these 2 drugs could cause what side effects? HI.

The medications advised to you are appropriate to reduce dental infection and pain and is one of the most commonly prescribed combination.
So you can continue it for 5 days and will help in getting better soon by reducing infection and pain.
It is not always necessary that a short course of antibiotics and painkillers will cause you any side effects however stomach upset can be a most common one.
So to be on a safer side it is better to take Pantoprazole empty stomach in the morning till you are on these medicines and along with it eat plenty of probiotics like yogurt and drink plenty of water..
