Hi, How are you? My name is Tearany. I found you while researching Pulsatile Tinnitus. I just wanted to reach out to you to see if I could have your advice/opinion about an ongoing neck/ear problem that I ve been experiencing. 2 years ago, I began having heart palpitations and a loud wooshing sound in my right ear. The sound went on non-stop. When I hold my neck it stops and when I let go the loud wooshing sound continues. When that began, I immediately went to see my primary physician. I was given a blood test and was told that I am severely anemic (low iron levels) and that I was borderline hypertension. Two weeks ago the wooshing sound has now started in my left ear, so now it is in both ears and has not stopped since. The noise went from a wooshing sound to a constant steady wind sound. When I hold one side of my neck and stops and gets louder on the other. The noise lowers when I lay down, but gets extremely loud when I stand up. I can also feel the inside of my ear and neck pulsing. I would love to have your opinion on this if you could kindly give me your insight. The sound is similar to a sonogram sound. Do you think this may have anything to do with fluid in my ears or a blocked artery? It would be great to have you opinion. Best regards, Tiraney Robinson
