Hi, I just have an onset of tailbone Pain around noon yesterday. It started to subside overnight. But started back once I got in the car to drive to work today. Bothered me all day today. What concerns me is I did not have an injury. What could this be?

Hi
Welcome to healthcaremagic
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. It is likely to be coccyxdynia. Treatment of it is analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Hot sits bath ( sitting naked for 10 minutes in morning and evening in a tub full of water) are advisable. It is advisable to sit only on soft surfaces and hard surfaces should be avoided. Avoid long duration sitting. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
