Suggest Treatment For Severe Rib Pain Post Injury

I have slipped on a hard wooden floor and really hurt my side I went down with all my weight on to me side.i am on holiday in lanzarote so it was on a very shiny floor in the hotel room. It his was on Tuesday night. On wed I went to the a & e dept at the local hospital. They xrayed my ribs and are not broken. They told me I had rib confusion and to take paracetamol. It is now Saturday evening an I thought it would have eased off a bit but unless I am still or walking very slowly the pain kicks in for about 3aeconds unbearable. I have trouble getting in and out of bed without tremendous pain it is like whenever you use the muscle. Do you think I should go back to the a&me or should I give it longer. I don t go home till next Thursday so I am hoping I will feel better by then.

you need to visit the a and e department in my opinion. try to take pain killer and muscle ralaxant for a few days and give hot presses to the affected sore areas. and apply a pain releiver spray or cream/gel to the sore area for better releif. try to take deep breaths and do breathing excersises.
