Suggest Treatment For Severe Pus Filled Boils On The Body

Hi, I have this painful boils all over my body filled with pus,mostly butt,legs and thigh and it comes and goes...I have seen the doctor and a blood test was done but nothing seems to be the problem as the blood result was very okay.i was advice to see the dermatologist. Is there anything that can be suggested for me to use for the boils?

Hi there

These tiny abscesses generally occur from infected hair follicles.
You can take a course of flucloxacillin or cotrimethoprim to clear the infection.
High dose vitamin C, 1000mg daily has also shown to decrease the incidence of recurrence.
I also recommend exfoliating the area regularly to prevent ingrown hairs.
