I ve been having a lot of pain in both of my shoulders and biceps. I just had surgery on my hand about Two weeks ago went back to the surgeon yesterday they told me the pain was from my posture It has been waking me in the middle of the night for the last week. They told me there was no infection and nothing from the surgery can cause this pain. The only other thing I can think that it might be is when I hurt my hand I was taking steroids and going to the gym every day befor injured. I ve stopped taking steroids sense can this pain be from the steroids the pain is close to the injection site.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be simple muscle pain.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
