Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Shoulder Blades

I ve had a bone scan and an x-ray of my shoulder and they said that there might be cartilage floating around..for the past few days it has felt like there is a knife stuck in between my shoulder blades. What could be wrong with my shoulder? Also, there is popping sounds when I do certain things with my shoulder and I can t move it certain ways..I ll be in excruciating pain if I do.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Popping sounds can be heard around the shoulder joint due to clicking movement of cartilage.
The X-ray and bone scan also show a floating cartilage around the shoulder joint.
The pain can be due to floating cartilage.
I suggest you to consult your orthopedician for clinical assessment and thus management of floating cartilage.
If the pain still persists after treatment, then you need to consult your orthopedician to look for other cause of pain in between shoulders.

Thanks and take care
