Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Left Thigh

My daughter is a travel soccer player. She had two overtime games this weekend (110+ minutes each) one Saturday afternoon and one Sunday morning. This morning she woke up with pain in her left thigh when she tried to move. She describes the pain as it feels like something is tearing. Not sensitive to touch, only pain is on movement. It hurts from thigh to just below the knee

Hi,

It looks like muscular pain due to overstretching of the muscles causing inflammation and there can also be a muscle tear. So, first of all, consult an Emergency room and get her evaluated.

If need an X-ray or MRI Scan can be done for confirmation of the cause. For now, she can take muscle relaxant like Chlorzoxazone and apply muscle relaxant and analgesic gel. Avoid exerting too much. Take rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
