Hi,

Knee being a weight-bearing joint is very important for normal living.so must be cared for very well.

Though not severe, you need to get it examined by an orthopaedic doctor, get X-rated and few blood tests need to be done in order to define the cause of pain followed by specific management; which can be physiotherapy/hot or cold pack/anti-inflammatory drugs/ intraarticular steroid; or surgery.

Till you meet an expert, take rest use hot or cold pack over the counter Ibuprofen pill.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
