Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Hips While Walking Post Back Surgeries
I am a white male 74 years old. I have had 5 back surgeries with instrumentation put in place. I have lower back pain across the entire lower back which I can manage, the real pain comes from both my hips. Walking in the house I am fine but walking outside or on a concrete surface, I encounter sever pain and limited mobility to where I have to stop and rest or sit down if there is a chair or bench nearby. What to do?
Taking into consideration your history and age sir, I would recommend a bilateral x-ray of both hips and a consultation with an orthopedician. A possible joint replacement suegery may be in order, but we can decide this only after looking at the joint carefully.
Best wishes.
