I ve had 4 NEGATIVE pregnancy tests, I currently take Folic acid & Evening primrose to help with the severe pain of my periods, could either of these vitamins cause a false negative?

Hello,

You also repeat blood pregnancy tests, possible causes of the missed cycle may be due to pregnancy or stress or hormonal imbalance or thyroid abnormalities or anemia or pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) or hormonal contraceptives etcetera. Please consult your gynecologist she will do an abdominal or pervaginal scan for pregnancy and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regard,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
