I have had a kidney infection for the last 3 1/2 days, with fever off 103.5, treated with ibuprofen 800mg, severe persistent headache, chills, shaking, sweating, pain in the left rear lower back, muscle aches throughout body. I have taken 3 days of antibiotics that I had at home, my fever is down to under 99.9f but I still have a persistent, pretty severe headache. I m wondering if I should consult a Dr because I don t want the infection to have spread to my blood or other body part and what the likelihood of that might be?
