I have been having bad headaches for the past 7 months, after extensive testing it has been revealed that I have varicose veins in the neck leading up to my head. I also have arthritis and osteoporosis in the neck. My family physician has referred my to a neurologist but I have been advised the waiting time is in excess of 7 months. Is there anything I can do in the meantime to help with the pain.
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having chronic headache for last 7 months. This can be because of migraine and hence he has referred you to a neurologist. Migraine can be treated by a general physician and treatment is by the use of anti-migraine drugs.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope this is helpful to you. Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you With regards
