General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Symptoms with Gitelman's syndrome may vary from patient to patient. Normally, patients get cramps and muscular spasms and also sensation changes, tiredness, low blood pressure and in some cases even severe heart rhythm problems.

I would say that due to the severe heart rhythm abnormalities that may occur with this syndrome, it is safer for you to have a visit with your doctor and rule out electrolyte imbalances as the cause of your symptoms.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Kind regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
General and Family Physician
