Suggest Treatment For Severe Diarrhea
I am a 69 year old male in relatively good health. Six week ago, I ingested a large amount of water from Choctaw Bay, in Fort Walton Beach Florida. Since then, I have had diarrhea for six weeks. My stool sample, (analysis) is normal and does not show any anomalies. What could be wrong ?? Sincerely, Dennis

If infectious cause is ruled out then this may indicate some specific bowel diseases such as celiac, inflammatory bowel disease and irritable colon. You should do colonoscopy as next step.till that,drink plenty of fluids,take probiotics and loperamide and rest.
