Suggest Treatment For Severe Diarrhea
I have had diarreah for one week. I am scheduled for knee replacement surgery on June 10...can I restore my body before then to be in perfect condition for surgery at age 82. I started prescription today, have been taking over the counter stuff and has not stopped yet.

Knee replacement is a surgery which needs you to be very infection-free. Have diarrhea is going to be a contraindication. Stop taking the over the counter medicines, Consult your Doctor, get blood,urine and stool tests done and get started on appropriate antibiotics, metronidazole, probiotic and symptomatic treatment.
If you are cleared of this then only will be taken up for surgery, hence take proper care.
