Suggest Treatment For Severe Diarrhea And Stomach Pain

I have been having stomach ( feeling like indigestion a little) issues for a couple week or so. Had to go to bathroom #2 a couple times a a day for a couple weeks then turned into diarrhea. Tool some antidiarrheal pills - then I felt like I was blocked for about 2 days, then took milk of magnesia - cleaned me out pretty well, but for the past 3 days or so, stomach really upset have a pain I right side of stomach mid area. Also feel sensation often moving up into lower chest area - uncomfortable. I did have my appendix out several years ago. I do plan on going to doctor on Thursday this week.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

This looks like you have got gastritis, I would recommend using some antacids like Gaviscon and Omeprazole. Take more and more fluids. Avoid spicy and bitter foods.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
