Suggest Treatment For Severe Bruising On The Foot Post Injury

Yesterday I dropped a fairly heavy (40 lb) clock on my foot. It caught the corner of the clock as it fell. I couldn t walk on it for about an hour. I iced it and elevated and after that I was able to bear weight on it. There is some bruising and one very dark vein. I am able to bend my toes/walk - the area is sensitive and it hurts slightly to walk, but not unbearable. --- Is this something I should be worried about? Thank you!

You should get foot X-ray done soon. Because it may be fracture of foot bone. Bruising on the foot will resolve slowly. You may apply antibiotic ointment e.g. Neosporin over bruising.
