Suggest Treatment For Severe Arthritis

I get chills very easily and my bones hurt when this happens. I have arthritis, and I take hot showers to stop the pain. But this leaves my skin dry, and I have to put cream on. Is it normal with arthritis to have bad chills like this and are there other alternatives to prevent or control the chills? It is worst when the temperature outside is cold or damp. My name is Melanie Vienneau, I dont have an email address but you can email me at my boyfriend s address at YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be rheumatoid arthritis. For confirmation, kindly do RA factor, ANA test, anti CCP after consultation. Kindly do X-ray of affected joints. For pain you can take tab. Etoricoxib after consultation.

Use support while walking. Take proper rest. Take calcium rich diet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale
