Suggest Treatment For Severe Anxiety In A Person

I recently had a number of high anxiety experiences while driving in Ireland, I live in the U.S. And have 45 years of driving experience. After stopping the car, I'd experience hands shaking involuntarily, neck stiffening, after calming myself I cried briefly. It took about 20 min or so to start relaxing. Scary stuff.
What was this, as I have never experienced this before in 61 years of living. Thanks
