Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain And Diarrhea
My 18yr old son is on Eliquis 5mg for blood clot in his arm due to a PPIC line. My son,(Charles), has been out of the Hospital almost 4 months. The doctor wants him to continue on Eliquis for 2 more months. My son,(Charles), is having stomach pain and diarrhea and I would like to give him over the counter Pepto-Bismol or Kaopectate to help. Is it safe for either of these to be given to my son since he is on Eliquis? and if so which is better?
