Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain And Diarrhea

My husband has stomachs pain with loose stools. Is not throwing up. Went to Doctor last Tuesday throwing up and extended stomach maybe due to gas per dr. Stomach is not as hard as last Tuesday. Dr gave him a phygren shot and promethazine pills and said he has virus so he has not thrown up since Tuesday. Does it sound like flu/virus to you. Also did not have temp on Tuesday and does not today

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of your husband seem to be related to a viral infection.

I see through the query that he is already under medication.

I recommend to continue the medications given by the doctor.

I also suggest to drink liquids and rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
