General & Family Physician 's  Response
Well without having alook i can't confirm the diagnosis but if a physician has confirmed that, then she is definitely having scabies. Scabies has symotoms like nocturnal itching (in a child may present with excessive crying and sleep problem), crusting and burrows of mites. Treatment of choice is Lindane cream applied once from head to toe and then left for 24 hours. You can add syrup ebastine ir phenergen half tsf × PO × BD. Second and most importantbthing is how to apply. Boil and dry your baby's clothes in sun, give her bath with antiseptic like dettol added, then clothe her in boiled and dry clothes and also boil and dry all her clothes and beddings.
