Suggest Treatment For Sacral Agenesis

Hello -Has there been any major developments in treating sacral agenesis? Can we grow nerves to give function to legs, bladder , bowel that may be affected by paralysis? Hoping for some development through the use of stem cells. Thank you for your input.

Hello,

For sacral agenesis, there is no permanent cure about stem cell therapy studies are going on.

Prevention of sores and intermittent catheterization and supportive care may useful. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
