Suggest Treatment For Runny Nose, Light Cough And Light Congestion

Hi I have a question, my husband has been having these common cold like symptoms for over a month now. The symptoms are consistent with runny nose, a light cough, a light congestion, and no fever or ear ache. We have tried everything from humidifiers, Mucinex, and ibuprofen. Today he woke up with a swollen eye. Please help were not sure if its allergies to something else but its been going on for way to long now.

Hi,

Start combination treatment of antihistamines i.e., Bilastine and Montelukast that works for allergy. If the symptoms are relieved then consider it to be allergic. Wait for few more days, if it does not get resolved consult the doctor for clinical examination and get investigated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
